On two occasions I had the opportunity to do a site inspection of the Paradisus Playa Del Carmen, and was impressed both times. While I haven’t personally stayed at the property I have had several clients stay at this property over the years, all with positive feedback from them. The property is divided into two sections that mirror each other, the adults only, La Perla, and the family friendly section, La Esmeralda.
A strong feature of the property is the beautiful cove shaped beach that it sits on.
In La Esmeralda section, there is a real focus on familes complete with a pirate themed water park, freshly made popcorn, and well as mini chairs in the Concierge Family secition.
Clients consistently say the food is quite good at the resort, and particularly the a la carte restaurants, such as Passion and Bana.
