Tuscany. Join other Adventurous
Singles for a fun filled vacation of
a lifetime. Tuscany is one of
Italy's most beautiful areas, ideal
for walking and hiking. We will
spend an amazing week exploring the
beautiful mountains and rolling
hills covered with olive groves,
sunflowers, vineyards and cypress
trees interspersed with medieval
towns and villages dating back to
the 12th century.
Our hikes in this area will take us
to Poggibonsi, Certaldo and San
Gimignano, noted for its
“skyscrapers” dating back over 600
years. The hotel this week is LA
VECCHIA CARTIERA in the old (& new)
town of Colle di Val d’Elsa from
which Siena and Florence are just a
short bus ride away. As this is
Chianti country, one day will be
spent visiting some local wineries
by bus to sample their wines and
olive oil. |
