Your trip begins with
your arrival at Cusco where you will
stay in a 4 star hotel so you can
relax and unwind with Coco tea while
you adjust to being 10,909 feet
above sea level. Take a moment to
soak in the beauty that surrounds
you as you relish in your
surroundings. In the afternoon spend
some time discovering the sites in
Cusco like the Saqsaywaman,
Tambomachay, the Inca sun temple at
Kirikancha, the Inca Terraces of
Qwnqo and the 16th
century cathedral. After a day of
walking through Cusco, prepare
yourself for a mountain bike
adventure or a hike that is sure to
thrill. If you are an avid biker
then you will enjoy the day long
expedition from San Salvador, near
Huambutio and straight into the
Sacred Valley. Travel for 10,000
feet on and off-road going past the
awe-inspiring Andean views. After
visiting the ancient Incan ruins,
stop off for some shopping in the
Indian market of Pisac, then
continue to Yucay passing along the
banks of the river where you can
stop and meet the local people and
have the opportunity to meet with
the locals. If you are not a biker
you can take a hiking tour instead!
If you think that day was fun, get
ready for even more excitement as
you embark on a white water rafting
trip through the Sacred River of the
Incas. The Urubamba is an excellent
way to begin your experience
rafting. The river is not too wild
so you can absorb the amazing
scenery as you raft down the river.
Customize your trip at this point if
you do not want to raft, you can
explore the surrounding area on your
own by hiking the easy trails, going
horseback riding or biking. End your
day with a hike to Ollantaytambo by
the Inca trail and learn about the
Incan way of life. |

|
If you opt for the
6-day package
then at this point you will hop onto
the train to Machu Picchu and then
enjoy a hike up to the Inca ruins at
Wiñay Wayna, then around a cliff
hanging cloud forest. A couple hours
and a climb later we will walk
through the Gate of the Sun where
you will get to see Machu Picchu in
all its glory. Join us as we tour
through the ancient ruins as you
hike the Incan trails to the Lost
City. An archeological adventure
that is sure to entice! If you do
not want to hike, feel free to stay
on board the train and arrive in
Machu Picchu in 1st class
accommodation. End your 6-day trip
with a day of exploration in the
Citadel of Machu Picchu or explore
on your own by hiking to the Temple
of the Moon or to Huayna Picchu
before going back to Cusco and
heading back to your home country.

If you opt for the 9
day package
then prepare yourself to be treated
to a camping and hiking experience
of Peru that will charm you. The day
following your hike to Ollantaytambo,
you will be transferred to another
incredible hiking trail where you
will cross the river on a suspension
bridge and head to the Llactapata
ruins. Join your fellow singles as
we walk along the trails and are
fascinated by the hills, bushes,
rustic huts and the ruins of Q’ente,
Pulpituyoc and Llactapata. Tonight
we camp at our first campsite at
Huayllabamba beside the Cusichaca
River. Wake up to the sounds of the
rapids and prepare yourself for a
steep hike through the sub-tropical
forest. As we move higher into the
mountain, the terrain will evolve as
the scent becomes steeper and the
terrain becomes more rugged. We will
go up to the highest point on the
Inca trail at 14,000 feet which is a
little chilly due to the elevation
so bring a jacket along! As the
trail continues up the hills on
either side, the ruins of
Wayllabamba and Runcuracay surround
you. As you begin your decent stop
to enjoy the waterfall of the
Pacamayo River and the lush jungles.
Journey to the many Incan ruins
along the 10 km hike to
Puyupatamarca where you will camp
overnight and enjoy the views of the
snow capped Vilcabamba range. After
sleeping in the natural beauty of
Peru, get ready for another day of
hiking to Machu Picchu. You will
pass through the Wiñay Wayna another
amazing site of Incan ruins. This
hike takes about two hours as you
pass through the Inti-Punku or “Gate
of the Sun” before you reach to the
Citadel at Machu Picchu. Get a true
feeling of being in the amazon as
you explore the Incan trails to the
Lost City surrounded by beautiful
stone roadways, ancient stairs and
mountain tunnels. The next day you
are free to enjoy the city at your
leisure. It is a great day to go on
a hike to the Temple of the Moon or
to Huayna Picchu which is a 3.5 hour
hike. Then enjoy a dinner with your
fellow singles before your departure
the next day to Cusco International
Airport where you will leave on your
return flight to your hometown. |

Please note that if you are
