American Rambler Tours - Booking Terms and Conditions

Payment procedures:
Payment is due in full upon making a reservation. Cancellation penalties (from date of departure)
Outside of 60 days- $20 penalty
Between 60-45 days- 40% of trip cost
Between 44-30 days- 60% of trip cost
Between 29-15 days- 80% of trip cost
14 days or less- 100% of trip cost

Cancellations must be in writing and take effect the day we receive it. You will receive your money back less the cancellation penalty. Or you can choose to transfer your reservation to another tour of equal or lesser value if space is available, or you may transfer your reservation to someone else at no additional cost.

American Rambler Tours reserves the right to refuse service to anyone without compensation before or during the trip if, in our opinion, that person is not compatible with other members of the tour. American Rambler Tours may change the itinerary, travel route, or destinations as we deem necessary. Under no circumstances will we be held responsible for bad weather and its consequences. If you have a reservation and are not present at the time of departure for your tour, it is your sole responsibility to catch up to the trip and receive no compensation.

 

On our tours it is necessary that you abide by the authority of your tour leader, and if you commit any act or display any behavior that, in the opinion of the tour leader, causes danger or discomfort to others we reserve the right to terminate you from the tour without any compensation or liability. If you are affected by any type of condition that might affect your enjoyment or that of others on this trip, you must let us know at the time your reservation is made. While we offer different levels of activities, you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your state of health meets the demands of these activities and this type of traveling.

American Rambler Tours retains the right to take photographs, video, and sound material made while on the tour for the use of promotional materials and marketing purposes such as brochures, advertisements, and website enhancement

American Rambler Tours - Assumption of Risk

By signing up for an American Rambler Tour with Meet Market Adventures you will have the opportunity to participate in various sporting and recreational activities such as hiking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, caving, kayaking, swimming, etc. There are certain risks and hazards involved in the participation of these activities which may result in damages such as loss or damage to property, inconvenience, discomfort, injury, or even death. These damages may be caused by natural causes, unintentional negligence of American Rambler Tours or our leaders, our passengers, or third parties. Due to the nature of our tours and the locations visited, help in the form of medical rescues or facilities may be several hours or even days away. Therefore, you must take precautions and be aware of the potential for risks and hazards that may occur. American Rambler Tours assumes no liability, compensation or otherwise, in the event of any damages you receive as a result of participating in our tours.

Third Party

At times American Rambler Tours, Meet Market Adventures and Paragon Travel will use third party outfitters for various sporting or recreational activities. Any concerns arising over the qualifications and ability of these third parties should be directed to the third parties themselves. These third parties are not affiliated with, endorsed, or insured by American Rambler Tours and we will not be held liable for any damages that may occur as a result of you participating in them.

Trip Cancellation

American Rambler Tours, Meet Market Adventures and Paragon Travel reserve the right to cancel any tour in the event that acts of nature, an inadequate number of passengers, or unforeseen circumstances occur. We will refund all your monies paid to us or you can transfer to another trip of equal or lesser value if space is available. American Rambler Tours is not responsible for any additional expenses that may be incurred by the result of a cancelled tour such as lodging costs or costs associated with the changing or cancellation of airfare. We advise you to consider a travel insurance policy that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, lost or damaged luggage, and any other risks that may occur due to your participation in a tour.

Release

You, your family, any guardians, and legal representatives agree to hold American Rambler Tours, Meet Market Adventures, Paragon Travel, the owners, and tour leaders harmless from any liability, debts, claims, injury or damage you may suffer in connection with your tour, whether the result of negligence or otherwise.
