Community Involvement
Paragon Travel’s employees not only work in the community of East York but many of us live here and are heavily involved with making our community a better place to live and work. Our community has given us more than 60 years of business, we feel proud to give back in whatever way we can.
Woodgreen Early Learning Center
As a mother, Nicole knows how valuable it is to read to young ones at an early age. Both she and Crystal have come together to participate in a reading program for children at the center. Once a week they visit young ones and help them read stories or read to the younger children who are waiting for their parents to collect them after school
As a committed and engaged member of the community, Paragon Travel provides sponsorship at the Bridgepoint Classic Golf Tournament. This event brings together the wide variety of supporters and suppliers that are contributing to the building of this dramatic new centre of health-related activities in Toronto.
Providence Health Care is our neighbour and cares for our neighbours. As a contributing supporter of the Providence Health Care Foundation and a Providence Community Partner we are helping make it possible for Providence to meet its goals and objectives in our community and for our community.
Since 1951, the Rotary Club of East York has been putting “Service Above Self” by raising funds for local and international charities. Over the years we’ve restored vision, cured victims of polio, helped women in shelters transition back into the work force, given Alzheimer’s patients a comfortable place to stay, helped improve the health of children and helped break the cycle of poverty and crime in youth.
Since 2001, Paragon Travel President Nicholas Lawley has been a member of East York Rotary, contributing time and resources in support of the rotary philosophy of `Service Above Self`. Nick is a Past-President of East York Rotary. Paragon Travel Co-owner Crystal Lambkin is also a Past-President of East York Rotary.
Since our inception in 1965, the members of the Toronto East Rotary Club have had a single goal – “Service Above Self.” We try to make a difference in our community by offering assistance and programs to those in need. With your help, we make it happen.
Since 2004, Travel Consultant Nicole Patterson has been a member of Toronto East Rotary Club, being an involved and committed member in support of Rotary International goals and objectives.
Paragon Travel has chosen to provide year after year of support for this organization through our sponsorship activities at the Butterfly Classic Golf Tournament.
Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation
Herbert established the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation to provide bursaries to enable deserving students to attend college and university. Our Rotary club 
activities brought us in touch with the Herb Carnegie Foundation and ever since then we have enjoyed the fellowship of this foundation. Our contributions through sponsorship in the Future Aces Golf Tournament Paragon Travel is helping make it possible for these deserving students to achieve their educational goals.
Paragon Travellers Soccer Team
Paragon Travel is an annual sponsor of the East York Soccer Club. We even have our very own team called the Paragon Travellers. Through the summer, these children participate in league games against other teams. Paragon Travel is proud to participate in children being active and support health living in our community.
