Costa Atlantica, of Costa Crociere / Costa Crusies “Cruising Italian Style”
Costa Atlantica is one of Costa’s Sprit Class ships, built in 2000 in Finland by Kvaerner Massa. Along with her sister ship Costa Medditeranea, she is one of the Spirit class ships built in Finland for parent company Carnival Corporation.
Costa Atlantica, cruises from Ft. Lauderdale to the Eastern and Western Carirbbean in the winter months, and from Genoa for most of the spring, summer and fall seasons, she does make a couple of spring and fall cruises from New York prior to her trans atlantic cruises.
Costa Atlantica, has lively entertainment, with major shows, specialty performaces. In addition to a well motivated animation team. One of the features of all Costa’s ships are thier dance floors, making Costa one of the best cruise lines for latin and ballroom dancing.
<Food is a major feature of the cruise experience, and the Costa Atlantica’s menu offerings are no exception, Costa’s menue is international in scope with an emphasis on Italian and mediterranean items. Durring the winter sailings in the caribbean the selection is adjusted to cater to the tasts of North American guests.
The traditional late evening (midnight) buffet has been replaced by delightfull treats served in the the main deck entertainment venues and the atrium, where the guests are enjoying the evening.
Always available is pizza and salads from the pizzaria.
